This line is rather unlike the rest of the piece in its tone and sentiment, but it's simple and truthy and made me laugh out loud: "Blender was trivial and deeply into lists and really liked artists who had pretty breasts." The whole thing is a good read but made me feel very far away from New York and very (conspicuously, cripplingly) young, and I'm not sure if either happened in a good way or a bad way.
